Praising God

Praising God is one of the things the enemy hates. You will notice how unbelievers often complain of disturbance when you are praising God. This is the devil’s challenge, like Goliath’s. Praising God causes a breach of peace in the enemy’s camp. When Paul was in prison with Silas, they sang while in handcuffs and stocks. (Acts 16:25-26) says “And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God; and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison was shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.”

Praise looses bands and opens wide the doors that the enemy has locked. God moves and fights for you when you sing wholeheartedly in faith. You accomplish this not only in songs and words of praise in your understanding, but also through the spirit of God as He speaks to you through tongues.

In the case of Jehoshaphat, he “appointed singers unto the Lord, that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they were out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for HIS mercy endureth forever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambush against the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, which were coming against Judah; and they were smitten. (Praise is one of the keys to open doors)
