June 21, 2009-A Father’s Love

today’s message……..

 

2 Kings 13:14-21

Genesis 18:19

The main point in this scripture is about fathers and their offspring. As Fathers, you must leave something after you left that your children can use. 

Look at the story of Elijah, when he was to be taken up to heaven, he left Elisha with that something. Every father needs to be a good leader, lead by example, be the visonary of the family. 

If you kill your servant you kill your vision. 

     1)Every father needs to invest in someone’s life. The power of        investing gives you something after the years have passed by. So        many fathers do not know how to invest in their children. 

    2) Believe in the man in which you invest upon. The God that we are        serving is looking for a man he can invest upon. every        inveatmeant done in the things of this world must yeild a        result.

    3) Love him anyhow. LOve can never be 50/50. It is either 100% of        zero. Use the measurement of the word of God to place a quantity        of your love.

In life there are three major questions asked. What will I be when i grow up. What will I make of the life I chosen? What will I leave back after I am gone?

June 14, 2009-Blessings of Staying Connected

today’s message………..

John 13:13-17

The chapter starts off with Jesus cleaning the feet of His disciples. Peter, who is always two steps ahead told Jesus, that He being the master and teacher should not wash the feet of him. In those days, due to dust and unpaved roads, the feet was the dirtiest part of the human body, yet our Savior showed humility by washing the feet of a man. He was teaching by example.

Staying connected with those men of God in your life brings blessings without much effort.

Humility demonstrates love. So how is love demonstrated in the church? 

It is through humility that your fellowship with one another will be strengthen. Where you do not identify with what you have achieved or  what you are, but with each other. Humility protects you and preserves unity.

Humble thyself, its the kingdom style, for those who are humble will surely be exalted.

June 7, 2009-Faith

today’s message………….

In these times where companies are closed down, bank accounts are being dried up, we as believers must continue to stand on our faith.  what is faith? Faith is a kingdom lifestyle (Hebrew 11:6). There are four kinds of faith.

               1) Little faith

               2) Dead faith

               3) Mustard seed faith-Matt. 17:20

                           Mustard seed faith is a growing seed faith. Your words are seeds, everything you say is being planted. The faith that believes and          speaks, active faith. Faith is the key that opens the locked doors. I can never be ignored by God.

               4) Great faith

We as Christians have a commander; Jesus, everything that comes out of His mouth, we must follow and believe. When the Allies landed in Normandy, every soldier knew what was in store. Yet they still obeyed the word of their commander. Jesus is our commander and He will not lead us astray.

Pray, Oh Lord give me faith!

May 24, 2009-Life, Love and Jesus

Today’s message………..

John 15:8-14

God takes a lot of pleasure in us, because we are His hand work, due to all the time and effort He has put into us. As a father is pleased to see his son and his image in him, same is to be said with our Heavenly Father.

When we are talking about love we are talking about Jesus Christ Himself. Life is Jesus Christ living in us. We must aspire to be like Jesus, give out love before we have even yet received it. 

The love of God  is the foundation of life itself.

The love of God in our life is the rule of life.

You are God’s investment and nothing that God invests in can be harmed.

Learn to Love, even as God has loved us.

May 3, 2009-Fight the Beast of Your City

Today’s message………….

You are not in your city of dwelling by accident. You are scheduled by a divine power to be here.

(1 Corinthians 15:31-32) If you examine the situation that Paul had to overcome at Ephesus, where the goddess, Diana ruled over the city, you will get a key insight into the struggle every child of God must have in order to overcome the battle with his/her beast of the city. In order for him to obtain the blessing of that city, he had to battle for it. An ongoing two year battle. 

 

Why do you decide to engage in warfare? Because you have decided within yourself that in order to obtain your blessings, war is enevitable. Don’t allow a single blessing to go out of your hands.

With every possession, a fight is required. All others bowed down to Diana except for one man, Paul. The problems you face today may be because you’re straightfoward with God, refusal to submit to the world powers.

Why do you decide to engage in warfare? Because you have decided within yourself that in order to have your blessings, war is inevitable. Do not allow a single blessing to fall out of your hands. 

With every possession, a fight is required.  While all others conformed to the ways of worshipping Diana, one man refused. The problems you face today may due to the fact that you are straightforward with God, refusing to submit to the worldly powers.

Therefore engage the enemy in a war, to claim your blessings.

March 22, 2009-The Valley

 

Today’s message…..

Psalms 23:4

Yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death

_ Your enemies may think that because you are in the valley it is over,   lest we not forget His rod and his staff comfort us

What is a valley?

 _ a place of fear, loniness, abondonment, a place between to hills or mountains 

God did not say He will not take you into the valley

Why does God allow you to enter the valley?

1) So God may build up your maturity 

     * the blind man who was born blind, was not because of the sin of        his mother or father, but because it glorifies God.

     * if you want to get muscles we go to the gym to lift weights, all        the pressure that we have to endure just to get those muscles.        we hold the pressures of life, to behold the the glory of the        end results

2) so you can totally depend on God

     * people are always there to help you, so you dont see God, so God 

       gives you a miracle were all your friends and family abandonds 

       you and the only place you can is towards God.

3) to let the devil know how much God values you

     * when God says He will be with, it tells the devil just how much        He values you. After all the sins we commit, He still comforts 

       us in the prison, valley. 

4) so you can have some mountain experience

     * any time you see a valley it means that there is a mountain        around, a place of elevation. Because of the scarcity enjoy the 

       prosperity. If your valley is very deep, your mountain shall be        too high.

5) to make testimonies out of your life

     * testemony = the uncommon, the unusual, the unprecedented 

6) your valley life will increase your praise life

     * the valley will not kill you it will give you joy. 

While you are in the valley, be carweful of your mummuring. Paul said to Cilus, nothing shall seperate us from the love of God, not anger,   proverty or death. Even in the prison, they praised God until heaven opened up and God could not sit down. Your valley life will bring you your praise life (Psalms 23).

So praise God, through your valley experience for elevation is coming forth your way. Let your focus be on God, and not man. For with man, you can only get somewhere, but with God, you can get anywhere, for with God, all things are possible.

January 11,2009-Power of the Firstfruits

Today’s message…………

The power of the first-fruits offering is something that every child of God needs to understand (Proverbs 3:9-10).  If you want honor and respect, you must first honor God.  First-fruits has been around from the beginning, even before tithes and offerings (Genesis 4:1-3).  The difference between Cain and Abel’s offering was that Abel gave not only the first, but the fattest.

In-gatherings is thanks for the past, while first-fruits is thanks for the future.   First-fruits demonstrates putting God first in your life, business and family (Matthew 22:37-38).  As the Bible says, “seek ye the first the Kingdom of God and all else will be added.  If the idol worshipers can give the first-fruits to their gods, how much more should we give to our God.

1) first-fruits belongs to the priest (Deut. 18:3-4)

2) first-fruits should be celebrated (Exodus 23:16-17)

Even in the New Testamant there is a connection between the firstfruits and the Holy Spirit. The firstfruits reminds God of what He did on earth.

January 25,2008-It’s Time For Miracles pt.2

Today’s message…………….

The age of miracles has not passed, it did not end with Paul and Peter, just examine the earth and how gravity allows it to rotate on its axis, is it not a miracle. As long as there is a need, there must be a miracle. If CNN is troubling your mind with talks of a crying economy, turn it off, because we are part of God’s kingdom and therefore we are apart of God’s economy.

We are talking about a God that can never change, He did it for the woman with the oil, and He can do it for you, because IT IS YOUR TIME FOR A MIRACLE! I am means now! This God is everlasting, unfailing and infallible (Hebrew 6:17).

I am, I am what your need may be.

I am the solution to your problems.

I am the answer to your prayers.

The Lord is your provider, your protector, your healer, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Jireh. Take your limits off God, because for with God nothing is impossible. How many of you are ready for some real, tangible miracles?

May the blessings of the Lord be upon you and give you added insight to HIS words.

April 5,2009-The Wise

Today’s message…………

Matthew 25:1-13. The kingdom of God is not meant for the fools. If the extra oil is so vital, that it can prevent a man from entering heaven, then you must go after the extra.  The virgins are the present day saints, believers and the children of God, whereas the lamp is life.

As you live day by day,  something is being emitted from your lamp. Having an extra oil keeps you on the edge of the extraordinary. What makes you extra? When an extra effort is put into what you do, your prayer life, going to church and worship. Having extra oil means having a plan.

What made the foolish people foolish, they did not think of the future, only living for today. The foolish rely on prayer support, they asked for the oil of the wise. There are somethings in life that can not be shared. Stop trying to obtain borrowed anointing. Wise men must have a purpose and a reason to live.

May the blessing of the Lord be upon you and give you an insight into HIS words.
