1. The Name of Jesus. The mane of Jesus is the strongest power on earth and in heaven.  At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, (angels) and things in the earth (human being) and thins under the earth (Satan and demons) – Phil 2:10.  This is because “being found in fashion as a man, he humbles himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” – Phil 2:3. His exaltation came through obedience even unto death, for which God honored and crowned Him the Lord of all He knows everything under the earth: He was there and defeated the devil in his temptations.  In heaven, He is lifted high above all principalities and has a name that never was before, not only this world, but also in the one to come – Eph 1:21.  His name invokes the presence of God, “for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” – Rom 10:13 “for there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved” – Acts 4:12.  In addition, Jesus said, “In my name they shall cast out devils” – Mk 16:17.

2. The Word of God. Revelation 12:11 say, “And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimonies.”  Of what were they testifying?  The word of God!  They confessed the word of God.  ”By His strips we are healed.”  This is true because the word of God is settled in heaven it and live by it – Mt4:4. Use it daily in the presence of the enemy.

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted yup his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay: but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come.  And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? (Josh 5:13-14).

I know you need an encounter with the Lord regarding the issues of your life.  I know you have struggles that are consuming your energy both spiritually and physically.  I know you sometimes wonder where and how these struggles will end.  I know you sometimes feel overwhelmed as though you will not make it.  These are normally so until the Lord appears on the stage.  I assure you by the word of the Lord, He has come on the stage of your life.  Your own Gilgal is here and now because the Lord is here. (Isa 12:6) Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. Like Joshua, it is time to ask for instruction from the Lord how to let Him take over the battles of your life.  He is the Lord of hosts in the battlefield.

I like to examine Gilgal a little further.  I have observed that Gilgal was where God instructed Joshua a circumcise the children of Israel that were born in the wilderness but were not circumcised.  This circumcision symbolized a number of important landmarks in the lives of the people.  First, it represents evidence of salvation (our circumcision is of the heart).  Not being circumcised meant that the children of Israel still carried the identity of Egypt along with them.  They could not really lay claim to being God’s people since circumcision was evidence of covenant relation with God.  Gilgal Your Passover Place.

God said: “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that health thee” – Ex. 15:26

The Bible says: “If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God and do that which is right in his sight.” Our problem today is that most of us will listen, but we don’t hearken and do/obey.  Most of us listen to the word of God and select the part that suits us, and we ignore that area that we feel is not pleasing to us.  Diligence is important in the things of God.  Here, diligence means being careful and steady.  The word ‘hearken’ means to listen attentively.  Listening is very important in the promises of God.  God will not force you.  He knows that some people; will not comply to his word.  You see, God is a rewarder of them that ‘diligently’ seek him.  It is good for us to diligently, persistently, and perseveringly seek him.

It must not be a thing of the past; it is now: that means action. It is action that has only on route, which is ever forward and one language! It is done.  Faith has eyes and ears in the spirit.  Faith is not based on what your feel, see, hear, touch, or what you smell, but the word of God.  If we trust God, believe that He cannot lie, that He is faithful, and absolutely dependable, only then have we put our faith in Him.  Faith means to dee things as God sees them, to hear as God hears, to say things as God says them, and to do things as God does them.  That will make us real children of God, Jesus taught that a person should have faith in God because all things are possible to him that believes (Matt. 17″20).  Therefore, I say unto you, what things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe you have already received them and you shall have them.  (Remember have faith in God)

There are many things that we think are not God, it is a God to you.  When you love food, television programs, film, or movies more than God and it causes you to stop attending church services; that is and insult to God.  Anything, that takes your mind away from God, has become a god to you. God is saying we should not have any other god beside him. “And ye shall serve the Lord…” Ex. 23:25.  That means our duty is now to do what?  To serve the Lord and the Lord says that he will bless your water. Do you knows that some drink water and eat food and they die.  God promise to bless your food, bless your water, and bless your job so that food will never be scarce on your table (that means money).  Trust in the Lord and see what he will do.  (Have faith in God).

“For though we walk in flesh, we do not war according to flesh; For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but powerful before God for the overthrowing of strongholds, As we overthrow reasonings and every high thing every thought unto the obedient of Christ. And we are ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Everyone longs to enjoy financial blessing.  Nothing gibes most people peace as much as knowing that they enjoy financial freedom.  This means that you are financially empowered to get the things you and your family need in life.  This is why prayer for financial blessing is very important, particular as God is the one that gives us power to get wealth.  Again, we also have a part to play to play to enjoy financial blessing, you must also be mindful to you obligation to God as He continues to bless you.

As you pray for God to bless you, remember to also pay your tithes, service God’s work with your resources.  Do not forget to give to the needy.  Water your spiritual and biological parents, brethren, relations ect.

Nothing fuels enthusiasm like commitment to the things you are convinced of getting.  Constantly develop yourself in like with the things that will get you the double potation.  The sons of the prophets were a constant distraction to Elisha’s commitment to follow his master and mentor to the end, i.e. till the time that God would take him away to heaven.  Some people in the church can tell you what God is doing in this dispensation even through they are not bothered that they aren’t part of it.  They know so much yet their lives show no trace of their great knowledge.  They are only good at preventing others from getting the best out of life.  Though going nowhere, they are not prepared to let others move ahead.  What do you tell such people? ‘Hold your peace.’ while you continue with your pursuit.

God will only commit Himself to those who serve Him.  He promotes only those that are committed to His service.  Nothing qualifies for the double portion anointing like a close and constant fellowship with God.
